Cancer New Moon

Our Sun and Moon are getting closer in the sky to form a beautiful conjunction, a dark New Moon, in the nurturing sign of Cancer. The crab invites us to set new intentions for the weeks to come, around the themes of home, family, nurturing and emotions.

At this time of the year, home and family require special attention. Let’s make time for our loved ones, our family, or any tribe we belong to. If physical distance is in the way, a phone call or a message are a great way to bond. Remember that love and energy travel through time and space.

The crab likes feeling secure, but can be self-protective and remain in its own shell. As much as nurturing is important, we need to find the right balance between self-care and over-protectiveness. Let go of worry, fear and moodiness, dare coming out of your shell, while listening to your intuition and hiding when you hear the call for down time.  

Cancer is a water sign. So if you feel the call to bathe, swim, go to a spa, connect with any type of water activities, go for it! It will feel rejuvenating!

The Cancer New Moon marks the middle of 2024. So now is also a great opportunity to review the goals we set at the beginning of the year and readjust where necessary.
