Aries New Moon, Total Solar Eclipse, New Moon conjunct Chiron and Mercury retrograde. But what does all of that mean?

We recently entered a new astrological year when the Sun entered Aries, the first sign of the zodiac. Therefore, the first New Moon of this new astrological year will be in the fiery and courageous sign of Aries. New Moons are the perfect moment to set new intentions for the coming weeks, but as Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, this New Moon invites us to also set intentions for the whole year. 

The New Moon in Aries gifts us with courage, determination and confidence to start new projects and throw out what doesn’t serve us anymore. Can you feel this rush of energy, the fire inside of you?

Not only a New Moon in Aries… but also a Total Solar Eclipse! Eclipses can make New or Full Moons more intense, with heightened emotions. The word eclipse means removal of light, so when the Sun is “covered” by the Moon, our Ego is eclipsed, and our shadow side can come up. We might feel more anxious and emotional, and tensions may arise. Let's be kind to ourselves.

The Aries New Moon also forms a conjunction with Chiron - the wounded healer – and a wide conjunction with Mercury, currently retrograde. All of them in fiery Aries. This is a fantastic opportunity for the collective to heal past wounds with courage and determination!
